This is an English-language information page for international visitors. The German privacy policy is the legally binding version for Touchpoint GmbH.

At a glance

This website is hosted on Vercel and uses self-hosted fonts. It uses two analytics tools, Microsoft Clarity (session replay and heatmaps) and Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-WEM3X3GCW0), and both only with your explicit consent: until you accept in the cookie banner, neither is loaded and no analytics cookie is set. Your decision is stored in your browser under tp_consent. A first-party cookie tp-locale (value “de” or “en”, 180 days) remembers your language so the site only redirects you by your browser language once.

Microsoft Clarity. With consent, Clarity records your interactions with the page (mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, page views) and stores the first-party cookies _clck and _clsk. Input field content is masked. The provider is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited; data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Clarity also sets five third-party cookies on Microsoft domains (CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM); Microsoft states MUID is used for advertising, site analytics and other operational purposes, and we cannot delete those – you can remove them in your browser settings. Microsoft retains recordings for 30 days (favourites and a random sample for up to 9 months) and offers no way to delete an individual person’s recordings, so please contact us and we will agree next steps. Microsoft describes itself as a data controller for Clarity rather than solely a processor.

Google Analytics 4. With consent, Google Analytics measures how this website is used: pages viewed, sessions and their duration, events such as clicks and scroll depth, the referrer URL, and device and browser data. Google derives an approximate location (country, region, city) from your IP address; according to Google, IP addresses are not logged or stored in Google Analytics 4. It stores the first-party cookies _ga and _ga_WEM3X3GCW0, each with a lifetime of two years. The provider for EEA users is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; transfers to Google LLC in the United States cannot be ruled out and rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. We have a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR with Google, and we have set data retention in our account to two months for event data and 14 months for user data. We do not use Google Analytics on this website for advertising. Google Signals is switched off. Our Analytics property is linked to Touchpoint GmbH’s Google Ads account, but data from your visit to this website does not flow there for advertising purposes, because the site permanently denies the advertising consents (see the next sentence). The account’s “Google products & services” data-sharing setting is on; according to Google, this data is not used for Google’s own ad personalisation. Under Google Consent Mode v2, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are permanently set to denied regardless of your banner choice; only analytics_storage follows your consent. Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Google also offers a browser add-on that prevents collection by Google Analytics across websites: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Consent and withdrawal. The legal basis for both tools is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG, and you can withdraw it at any time via the button below. On withdrawal we set analytics_storage back to denied, delete the _clck, _clsk, _ga and _ga_WEM3X3GCW0 cookies, and the page reloads so that capture of the page you are on ends immediately; nothing is loaded again afterwards. The site itself uses no advertising technologies, no conversion tracking and no browser fingerprinting.
